Do dentist actually make custom mouthgard?
Yes, the custom mouthguard we create for you provides a superior protection for your face, teeth, jaw, and gums compared to generic store bought ones. We use an approved material that helps prevent a concussion.
How long does a custom mouthguard last?
If you follow our instructions and take proper care of your custom mouthguard, its longevity could last as long as three to five years! However, due to general breakdown from usage, we recommend you to replace your mouthguard each year.
Does insurance cover night guards?
Double check with your insurance provider to see if some or all of the cost may be covered under your policy.
Is it dangerous to wear a mouthguard while sleeping?
A night guard is much too large to be a true choking hazard. If for some reason the night guard does get dislodged whilst sleeping, it is easy to locate and remove from the mouth therefore choking on the appliance would not be a likely occurrence.
